This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you use our mobile application and website, why we collect it, how it is used, and how you can manage or delete your data at any time.
2. Information We Collect
We only collect data strictly necessary to provide an authentic, personalized market simulation and community experience:
A. Account & Profile Data
- Display Name & Handle: Chosen by you for your public community identity.
- Email Address: For login verification, account security, and session management.
- Mobile Phone Number: OPTIONAL. If provided, used only for SMS OTP verification.
- Avatar / Bio: Optional text and profile pictures uploaded by you.
B. Simulation & Platform Activity
- Virtual Orders & Portfolios: Paper trade entries, stops, targets, and simulated P&L logs.
- Strategy Desk Configurations: Custom risk rules (max loss, trade limits) set by you.
- Community Group Messages: Text and charts shared in public Strategy Desk rooms.
- Watchlists & Alerts: Scrips and price triggers you save for tracking.
C. Technical Diagnostics & App Functionality
To ensure reliable real-time WebSocket quotes and prevent unauthorized access, we automatically collect basic device telemetry: IP address, device model, operating system version (e.g. Android 14/15), network state, and crash error logs.
3. Information We NEVER Collect or Store
🛡️ Privacy First — Zero Sensitive Financial Data:
- NO Broker Credentials: We never ask for your Zerodha, Groww, Angel One, or Upstox login passwords or trading PINs.
- NO Banking / Payment Credentials: We do not collect or store bank account numbers, debit/credit cards, or UPI PINs. Payments for optional in-app subscriptions are processed entirely through the Google Play Billing System.
- NO Government IDs: Because this is 100% paper trading with zero real money, we do not collect PAN cards, Aadhaar numbers, or KYC documents.
4. How We Use Your Information
- Simulated Trade Execution: To calculate virtual performance, margin allocations, and discipline scores.
- Real-time Synchronization: To broadcast simulated order updates and group chat messages over secure WebSockets.
- Abuse Prevention & Moderation: To enforce community safety, detect automated bots, and investigate reported abusive content.
- Product Improvements: To monitor system latency, optimize quote delivery, and fix bugs.
5. Data Security & Storage Standards
We employ industry-standard administrative, technical, and physical security measures:
- Transport Layer Security: All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using modern TLS 1.3 / HTTPS. Cleartext HTTP traffic is disabled.
- Encrypted Authentication: Password hashes are salted using industry-grade cryptography (Argon2 / bcrypt). Authentication tokens are stored in secure, HTTP-only cookies to prevent cross-site scripting (XSS) leaks.
- Infrastructure Isolation: User databases are hosted in secured cloud environments protected by network firewalls and automated backups.
6. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You have full control over your personal information at all times:
- Access & Update: You can edit your profile details, handle, and avatar directly from the mobile app settings.
- Account & Data Deletion: You have the permanent right to delete your account and have all associated personal data erased.
